Different types of short circuit fault...

Short circuit fault mainly two types:

                1.symmetrical fault
                2.unsymmetrical fault

symmetrical fault again two types:

                1.between all the three phases and ground
                2.between all the three phases

unsymmetrical fault again four types:

                1.between single phase and earth
                2.between phase and phase
                3.between two phases and earth
                4.betwee two phases and at  the same time three may be a fault between third phase and earth
